NYC for Spring Break!

NEW YORK, NEW YORK! If you follow along on any of my social media handles (Instagram | Twitter | Tumblr | Pinterest ) then you probably saw (or got annoyed with the excessive New York pics. I went up to the city for the beginning of Spring break and had a great adventure with Suz! It was a perfect way to spend half of my break in a city I love. The last time I was there was for my internship this past summer so it had been too long!

There were a few things on my to-do list that I was dying to do and simply didn’t get around to crossing off last summer due to my crazy work schedule.

I was lucky enough to meet up with my blogging BFF, (who also goes to school with me!) Dorothy on Monday and Tuesday.  On Monday Dorothy and I had breakfast at this a quaint little diner in the Upper East Side with Carly, The College Prepster. Carly was so sweet and so thoughtful to take the time to talk to us and let us pick her brain. If only every Monday morning could start off with coffee in the Upper East Side!

Tuesday, Dorothy and I ventured off on adventure number #2 and headed down to the garment district where we toured the Lilly Pulitzer showroom, dream come true! Safe to say, it’s my version of Disney World. We walked in off the windy, chilly New York streets into a bright, tropical, showroom. I couldn’t help but yearn for summer. Dorothy and I were presented with some of the upcoming summer and fall lines that will be released in the near future. Let me be the first to warn you, start saving all your money now because you are going to want to buy everything!

The door to the showroom!

Dorothy and I exploring the city!

The rest of the time was spent exploring the city and checking off the little things on my checklist. It's safe to say we ate way to many scoops of ice cream, bought way too many clothes, and had way too much fun!

Steps of the MET!

Exploring!

We woke up really really early (hence the no makeup face!) Tuesday morning and went to Good Morning America and I got to take a selfie with Robin! I say this selfie is almost as great as the Oscar one!

The ate too much part...

Overall, it was a great trip and I'm already trying to figure out another free weekend I can make it back up there!

Remember,

xoxo,

Shannon
