I commonly get emails
from new bloggers asking for advice for their new blog. I have learned so much
from blogging and honestly it would probably take a full day for me to explain all
the little tips and tricks that I have picked up along the way. One of the most
important things I think you should keep in mind as a new blogger is your motivation behind your blog. I blog because I love it. I love meeting new people who share
my interests, I love having a creative outlet where I can post about anything I want and not have the limitations of a teacher tell me what I have to write
about. I blog because I’m passionate about it, not just because it’s another
thing on my to-do list to cross off.
I think that is one
of the most important thing to remembers as you run your own blog. If you start
your blog with the wrong reasons you won’t be successful. You should do it because
you love it and because it makes you happy, not because you feel like you have
to.
Honestly this is
something we all have to remember sometimes. Occasionally when I’m bogged down
with homework, it’s late, and I’m mentally and physically exhausted the last
thing I want to do is write a blog post. But the other 95% of time it’s relaxing
for me. It’s a way for me to take my mind off the school work and the other
stresses that come with being a college student.
So if you are a new
blogger, or someone who has been blogging for 7 years remember why you do it.
Not because you have it, because you want
to. With that in mind, I promise you'll go far!
Remember,
xoxo

This post is even greater than the fact that it might snow in Alabama (that's pretty great)!!

This post is definitely true! I started blogging because I love writing and reading other's blogs so I decided it was time to try it out for myself. Staying on top of your blog while juggling everything else college/life throws at you can be challenging, but it is surely worth it!

This is such a good reminder! Sometimes I go through periods where I just don't feel like I have anything to post - but that's ok. I think a lot of people who blog feel the need to post new content every day. But, if you don't want to, you don't have to and that's the beauty of having a personal blog.

This is so true! I started blogging because I have always read blogs and loved the idea of creating my own. I love writing and having a creative outlet! I think a lot of people start a blog with the wrong intentions.
