Working in a Parisian office, and having 2 full months in Paris, I was able to fully immerse myself into the French culture. I quickly learned that bright colors are not incorporated into their everyday style as much as ours. They tend to stick to more neutrals, (black, brown, grey, navy, white) instead of wearing something super bright or busy.
As someone who wears bright colors on almost a daily basis, this was a hard concept for me to accept. I needed to find a way to incorporate my bright, classic, southern style into something simpler and more subtle.
This Lilly skirt was the perfect combination of the two cultures. It wasn't too bright, and totally my style between the navy and white and scallops. I paired it with one of Lilly's white button down blouses and my favorite crossbody!
How do you wear what you love to work and look professional at the same time?

I love that Lilly is coming out with more work appropriate styles and color schemes, this skirt is a great example (I just wish the length was a bit longer!)
