FriYAY! + I'm going to a Ball!

In exactly one week people I'll be in a car headed south. 7 days. Ekk!

I'm counting down the seconds. Although it's going to be a long drive down to Palm Beach (Emory and I did it last Spring Break and it took 11 hours...ugh) I'm looking forward to a big break. This semester hasn't been the best school wise so it will be nice to get away for a little bit with my favorite people. I have a feeling we're going to have a blast! I wrote a post this week about my spring break plans and my spring break wishlist!

Until then, I need to some how stay focused on the 3 midterms I have next week and stay busy until Friday. There's so much to do between now and then that I'm hoping the week will fly by. This weekend I'm going to try to study a fair amount to get a head start on my tests but luckily I'll get some fun breaks going to The Bell Tower Ball on Saturday night with Emory and celebrating my roommate's 22nd birthday on Sunday!

The Bell Tower Ball is a ball Furman puts on annually for some important alums and donors and I get to go as Emory's plus one (he's president of the senior class so gets to be a guest!). I haven't exactly decided which dress I'm going to wear yet but I think I'm going to wear one of my dresses I previously wore to a formal. Stay tuned.

Now without further ado...what's on my radar this week!

I'm really loving this new statement earring trend. I'm totally eyeing these right now.

If any of you read Catherine's blog, Classic Catherine (I love all her wedding posts), she just posted about the process of finding (and making) her custom wedding dress. The process was filmed by a reality show and you can get the episode on Amazon (episode 5)!

Loved these Etsy finds. Obsessed with this find

Okay am I the only one who keeps a running list of baby names in her phone? I loved reading Kelly's post about baby names and seeing everyone's comments! I even commented with some of my favs if you can find it :)

I really admire Lara Casey and reading this article about her story and a little house tour was so refreshing.

Stop everything you're doing and look at this new Barbour. OBSESSED.

Did anyone see this documentary? I just found this trailer and desperately want to watch it now!

Hope everyone had a great week!

  1. It just made me feel so much better to know that I'm not the only person that keeps a running list of baby names on my phone-it's the only way that I know I'll remember really unique names, or just ones that I like-when the day comes!
